When I say good bye
To my dear ones………..
I feel inseparable sorrow.
Just as I saw many instances
In this transcient world.
That hunts my heart painfully.
I saw a five year old daughter
Saying ‘good bye’ to her father,
I saw a mother saying ‘good bye’
To her six month old child,
I saw a soldier saying
‘Good bye’ to her beloved,
While seeing this heart rending scenes in the train
I really hope and crave that
The real meaning happens
In every ones life…………..
That is ‘God be with you’!

Through this film Mrinal Sen put forward a Fact “History has to remain as history, we can absorb in the heart but take it away is impossible” .This movie is best in its lighting. Actress walking through the corridor with lamp is a noticeable sequence because of its lighting .The lighting lamp & intensity of light from the torch are reflecting the gist of the story in the viewers mind.

MY DEAR MOM

I was born with a long cry Is it the cry of this world?

Or the painful cry of my Mom?
I don't know, but my mother is really in pain.
So i feel guilty in my mind
I gave her so much pain through birth
I tried a lot to fill her with
Happiness instead of her the pain
Even then i betrayed my mother
For my selfish intentions & ambitions.
I flew like a shackle less horse
Above this wonderful world
I pretended like a person with arrogance
I won this world's dreams
Then i remembered my precious,
Beloved Mom who gave me birth.
And i searched and searched
I couldn't find my mom
She went to the eternal home ..........
Now i lament and crave to feel
My beloved's pure love.
Do not shut your doors
At the mother earth
Like what some are
Doing................to their mothers.
